D-47FET
I paired the mic with an Arienne K47 flat capsule and a Moby Transformer. Sounds excellent!! First it had a slight reduction in the low frequencies, which I solved with the very responsive support from Martin here. The issue was resolved by slightly moving a capsule cable of which the isolation touched the HiZ area (rookie).. Take care there ;-)
U47FET Component Kit
Had limited time to build before traveling abroad for recording. The build came together quick and easy. The sound has held its own against an original U47 FET as well as two different Wonder versions. Quite pleased.
U-47FET Microphone
This is a great build. The guide is well thought out and easy to follow, with all the documentation you could want. The parts are high quality and fit together easily. It was really fun, and I'll recommend it to anyone who wants a fantastic microphone at a fraction of the cost of a branded one. It sounds fantastic, and the support has been top notch. No complaints.
